We are based in Lake Macquarie NSW where we hold weekly Chakradance, Sound baths & Sacred frame drum & voice workshops at Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club. Private sessions are also available for 1 on 1 or groups.
Our heartfelt intention is to create a down to earth and relatable, safe healing space.

Sound Healing

Sound healing is an ancient and powerful therapy that combines a range of instruments & sound healing tools from around the world, noticeably improving well-being on a multi-dimensional level. Everything is vibration, including our bodies. When our bodies are out of tune, this is when dis-ease presents itself. Whether that be mentally, physically, spiritually or emotionally. Sound healing is a non-invasive and effective way to trigger the relaxation response, counteracting symptoms caused by chronic stress to allow space for more ease and flow in life. Each week we focus on a specific chakra.

ChakraDance

Chakradance is a Jungian based movement therapy that uses spontaneous dance & guided imagery, to specific chakra resonant music, for the purpose of healing and re-tuning your whole mind-body-spirit-energy system. It is a transformational inner journey of self discovery.  

Chakradance is Monday nights 7pm during school terms.

Learn to play the Sacred Frame Drum & open up to the healing powers of the voice, exploring the rich history, techniques, and rhythm of this diverse healing instrument for meditation, ceremony and self expression. 

The Frame Drum has been used for thousands of years cross-culturally as a tool to induce trance, deep healing and ceremony. There is a rich history of Women frame drummers that is re-surging. Modern research studies are showing that singing & drumming produces physical and emotional benefits that are beneficial to holistic health & wellbeing.. The vibrations of the drum & voice create a sonic massage, enabling stuck energy to shift and re-tune the body. It also evokes inspiration, boosts brain cognition, can help unlock your creativity and it is great fun!

If you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm. It is the Universal experience that is part of the symphony of life. You don’t need any musical experience to access this instrument, this course is ideal for the complete beginner. Each week we will explore basic hand played drumming strokes, connected to the five Universal elements of earth, air, fire, water and ether/space and close each session with an easy to follow medicine song or mantra. You will be given a practice folder to take home and access to a private FB group with home practice recordings.

All you need is a hand held frame drum and a curiosity to learn to begin.. (drums are supplied if needed as we go over the various drums in this workshop)

The 12, 14 or 16 inch Remo Frame Drum is affordable and available at most music stores.

healing session

Christine offers 1 2 1 sound healing sessions for women at her private studio by appointment. 

Christine offers private Integral Sound Healing sessions for Women, to meet the specific needs of the individual. This is a wholistic approach, taking into account current lifestyle and stress contributors. The initial session is 90 minutes in total, the healings are up to one hour. Each sound healing begins with an assessment of current energy field around the body using a tuning fork, to determine where excess energy is blocking the flow, or deficiencies are. These symptoms can present mentally, physically, spiritually or emotionally. Sound healing works on a multi-dimensional level, which is why it is so effective and the shifts can be felt and experienced after the first session. For lasting results it is recommended to have a minimum of 4 consecutive sessions. 

Initial session is $120 for up to 90 minutes, then packages of 3 sessions are available for $300.

Meet Rick & Christine

Christine is committed to supporting her clients on there healing journey, and has dedicated her life to exploring the power of Sound and Movement. As an experienced Sound Healing Practioner, and Sacred Frame Drum and Voice teacher, Christine emphasis the importance of connecting with ones own voice and rhythm. Her offerings are designed to empower Women to express themselves fully and creatively. Participants learn not only the technical aspects of drumming, but also the Spiritual and emotional benefits. In addition to her Sound work, Christine is a Chakradnace facilitator. This unique dance practice combines free form movement with guided mediation to align and balance the body’s energy centres/chakras.

Rick is a Somatic Healer and Shamanic Practioner who has been on a truth seeking path for many decades, studying Shamanism, Yoga & Buddhism traditions, and continues his journey of expansion with a strong calling and affiliation with plant medicines.

Rick offers private energy healing sessions for Men & Shamanic healing rituals. He has worked with Men & Women in addiction, anger issues and acute trauma for over 2 decades, with incredible results. He is on his way to becoming an initiated Shaman 2026 in Peru, under the guidance of his Shaman and a 4th generation Ayahuscero.

Rick & Christine have travelled the Himalayas and lived in a Spiritual Ashram to enrich their spiritual paths, as well as spending time in the Andes & Amazon jungle connecting to plant medicines.

what is a Chakra?

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning spinning wheel of energy. We are vibrational beings spinning energy all the time at different frequencies. These energy centres are also represented by the elements. Earth, water, fire, air, ether and light. Which is often easier to relate to as these elements are tangible.

The base chakra, (located at the base of the spine) is represented by the element earth. When balanced the qualities are a feeling of belonging, security, and connection to Mother Earth and surroundings. Imagine a tree blowing in the wind with shallow roots, if it is not properly supported it cannot withstand the turbulent winds that come and go. Same principle applies to humans, we too are nature.

Our aim is to activate and balance all 7 chakras, not by knowledge, by your own personal  experiences. To come home to yourself, awaken your full potential and true essence of who you are.

    I stumbled across an event on Facebook for Chakra Dance 12 months ago and was super curious after having a breathwork experience and synchronicity's popping up around dance (and kundalini energy).
